Click here for Part One and Part Two Let’s finish the book of Matthew today.  JESUS SPEAKS TO JAMES AND JOHN’S MOTHER ReadMatthew 20:20-28 Read Mark10:35-41 In the Matthew passage, we see the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, approaching Jesus to make a request. 📔NOTE: We know from other passages of scripture that ‘the sons of Zebedee’ are James and John (See  Matthew 4:21; Mark 1:19 ). Q: What brought this request on? A: Three Things #1 The Mount of Transfiguration ( Matthew 17:1 and Mark 9:2 ) Peter, James and John were highly favored of the LORD.    They were the only apostles invited up to the mountain to see Jesus transfigured in the presence of Moses and Elijah, where they   heard the voice of GOD the Father.   That is rather a big deal! #2...

Today is part two of our study, When Jesus Speaks to Women .   REVIEW: In part 1, we covered the first Canonical recorded occurrence of Jesus speaking directly to a woman in Matthew 9:18-22 .   Jesus addressed the woman as ‘Daughter’ after He healed her of an issue of blood that had plagued her for 12 years .  This conversation and miracle occurred when Jesus was on His way to lay hands on another ‘Daughter’ , the 12-year-old daughter of Jairus, the ruler of a synagogue. Today we embark on the New Testament study titled, When Jesus Speaks to Women .   This is a continuation of our study from the Old Testament, When God Speaks to Women .   Please grab your Bible and a Notebook so that you can write down the scripture references.   It is important that you verify what I teach for yourself.   I can be wrong!   When I discover that I have made an error, I update the BLOG and add notes into the description box of the video where the error was made. In fact, I want to mention a correction that I recently added into Part One of the study on Barrenness .   While it is true that Hannah and Elkanah lived in Eprathah which is in Bethlehem-Judah; Samuel is not of the tribe of Judah.   He is a Levite as documented in 1 Chronicles 6:16-28 .
